AI gets a draft moving. It also reaches for the same moves across every draft.

Prose Coach is a deterministic writing filter that marks 43 of those moves. A fixed rule set runs over your text and flags what's there. Some findings are vocabulary. Most are structural: a triplet where two items would do, or a closer that just restates the paragraph above it. Density gets scored against an accumulation threshold, because one marker is noise and six is a habit.

Every finding quotes the sentence that triggered it and attaches the fix. Two runs on the same text return the same findings, because no language model reads what you wrote.

What it doesn't do

It doesn't score your draft for AI, and it doesn't hand back a laundered version you have to trust. Detection scores are probabilistic and can't be checked against anything. The revision happens in your own client. A finding quotes your sentence and names the rule behind it, then your model makes that edit while you watch it happen.

Tiers

FREE runs all 43 patterns at three drafts a day, 12,000 characters per request. Re-scanning a draft after edits doesn't count against the limit.

PRO is $5 a month or $50 a year. The daily limit comes off, requests go to 200,000 characters, and coach_draft tells your model which revision passes to run and what to leave alone.
